Your right hand to help your child successfully negotiate the challenging teenage years and fulfil their potential

Youth Counselling Augsburg – Gersthofen

Are you at a loss to know how to help your teenager?

I support young people through the challenges of the teenage years, alleviating stress from parents who have tried everything and enabling a more harmonious life between parent and teen.

The teenage years can be a trial for parents and teens alike.

Don´t we all have moments where things get on top of us

…when the effort of keeping all the balls in the air at the same time – performing perfectly at work, being the perfect mum, keeping the perfect house – is just overwhelming and all you want is for a fairy godmother to come and make the problems go away.

I know I have.

And in my work I have seen many, many parents in the same situation.

Then the teenage years hit and add a whole extra layer of trouble. Our children don´t challenge us deliberately, they are just trying to come to terms with what it means to be a young adult, to become themselves. Just as we parents sometimes need a helping hand, so our children need help to find the potential within themselves and to become the best person they can be.

Share your burden!

Not only as a youth counsellor but also as a former teacher I appreciate the importance of a solid educational foundation and there are many reasons why young people lose their way as they negotiate the challenges of becoming young adults.

I can help them to navigate their way through this turbulent phase by improving their motivation and engagement with learning, working with them to develop a growth mindset and strengthening their resilience to setbacks and failures, leading to a re-engagement with school, family and life.
